Executive Directors
Gao Tianpeng
Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Gao Tianpeng, BEng and EMBA, was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer and an executive director of the Company since August 2017. He was previously the non-executive director of the Company for the period from 30 November 2010 to 21 March 2014. During his career in JCG since 1994, he has been overseeing various matters including cost management, financial management, international trading management, risk management, foreign exchange business, capital operation and equity division reform of JCG and daily affairs of the board of directors. He was also a manager of the Cost Branch of Financial Department of JCG, manager of Financial Department of International Trading, general manager of Risk Management Department, general manager of Capital Operation Department, the general manager of International Department of Resources Capital, vice general manager of China Jinchuan Investment Holding Limited and the director of Metorex, successively. He has extensive experience in financial cost management, risk management and asset management.
Mr. Yang Guiyan
Executive Director
Mr. Yang Guiyan was appointed as an executive Director with effect from 7 July 2026. Mr. Yang graduated in 2006 from Kunming University of Science and Technology with a bachelor’s degree in metallurgical engineering. Since March 2026, Mr. Yang joined the Group as the chief executive officer of Metorex (Proprietary) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Group. He is also the chairman of the board of directors of Ruashi Mining SAS, a non-wholly owned subsidiary of the Group, which operates both Ruashi Mine and Musonoi Mine. Mr. Yang is a metallurgical engineer and has over 20 years’ experience in operational management and metallurgy. From July 2006 to March 2026, Mr. Yang has served various positions in JCG, including process technician in the Smelting Workshop at Smelter of JCG (from July 2006 to January 2011), deputy director of Smelting Workshop I at Copper Smelter of JCG and executive deputy leader of the Synthesis Furnace Overhaul Project Team (from January 2011 to September 2016), deputy director of the Marketing Service Department at Copper Smelter of JCG and deputy leader of the Synthesis Furnace Major Overhaul Project Team (from September 2016 to December 2017), director of the Raw Materials Plant at Copper Industry Company of JCG (from December 2017 to April 2019), deputy secretary of the Party Committee at the Sulfuric Acid Plant of the Copper Industry Company of JCG (from April 2019 to July 2019), secretary and director of the Flash Furnace Workshop at Nickel Smelter of JCG (from July 2019 to March 2022), deputy director of the Nickel Smelter of JCG (from March 2022 to December 2024), and deputy general manager of Jinchuan Group Copper Precious Metals Co., Ltd. (from December 2025 to March 2026).
Mr. Jiao Changping
Executive Director
Mr. Jiao Changping was appointed as an executive Director with effect from 7 July 2026. Mr. Jiao graduated in 2010 from University of South China, School of Nuclear Resources and Safety Engineering with a bachelor’s degree in mineral resources engineering program (mining engineering). Since March 2026, Mr. Jiao has been the general manager of Musonoi Mine. Mr. Jiao is a senior mining engineer and has over 10 years’ experience in mining and beneficiation production as well as corporate operations management. Mr. Jiao served as assistant mining engineer and mining engineer in the Technical Quality Office of Jinchuan Group’s longshou mine from July 2010 to March 2016. He held various positions in Kinsenda Copper Company, an indirect non-wholly owned subsidiary of the Group, which operates the Kinsenda Mine from March 2016 to March 2026, including mining technology supervisor in the Production Technology Office (from March 2016 to June 2017), technical manager of the mining department (from June 2017 to March 2020), deputy general manager (from March 2020 to September 2024), general manager (from September 2024 to March 2026).
Mr. Li Jinzhi
Executive Director
Mr. Li Jinzhi was appointed as an executive Director with effect from 7 July 2026. Mr. Li graduated in 2006 from Xiangtan University with a bachelor’s degree in applied chemistry. Since March 2026, Mr. Li has been the general manager of Kinsenda Mine. Mr. Li is a senior mineral processing engineer and has over 20 years’ experience in non-ferrous metal mineral processing, copper hydrometallurgy and corporate operations management. Mr. Li successively held various positions at Concentrator Plant of JCG, including deputy workshop director (from March 2010 to May 2015) and workshop director (from May 2015 to September 2021). From September 2021 to March 2026, he served as deputy general manager of Musonoi Mine.
Non-Executive Directors
Ms. Gao Xianghui was appointed as a non-executive Director with effect from 7 July 2026. Ms. Gao graduated in 2011 from Gansu Agriculture University with a bachelor’s degree in economics, and in 2013 from University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a master’s degree in economics. Ms. Gao has been the director of Gansu Xinye Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd. since August 2023. Since July 2022, she has successively served as the director and chairman of the board of Gansu Xinye Lide Fund Management Co., Ltd. Ms. Gao is an economist and has over 10 years’ experience in finance. Ms. Gao was an assistant to the general manager for strategic planning at Lanzhou Chengguan Haicheng Microfinance Co., Ltd. from December 2015 to March 2019, and a strategic development specialist at Gansu Oriental Seed Industry Exchange Center Co., Ltd. from April 2019 to April 2020. Since April 2020, she has held various positions in Gansu Province Xinye Assets Management Co. Ltd, including the chief, the deputy director and director of Capital Operation Department. Ms. Gao had been the general manager of Gansu Xinye Fund Management Co., Ltd. from January 2021 to July 2022, and the general manager of Gansu Xinye Private Equity Fund Management Co., Ltd. from July 2022 to July 2023. Ms. Gao also served as a director of Gansu Jiugang Group Western Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. from August 2023 to August 2025 and a director of Lhasa Haidingyuan Mining Co., Ltd. from April 2024 to August 2025.
Ms. Gao Xianghui
Non-Executive Director

Ms. Gao Xianghui was appointed as a non-executive Director with effect from 7 July 2026. Ms. Gao graduated in 2011 from Gansu Agriculture University with a bachelor’s degree in economics, and in 2013 from University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a master’s degree in economics. Independent Non-Executive Directors
Ms. Han Ruixia, was appointed as an independent non-executive director of the Company since July 2022, obtained her PhD in Economics (Finance), master degree in Applied Economics (Venture Capital) and bachelor degree of Economics (Finance) from Renmin University of China. She is an independent non-executive director of China Gold International Resources Corp. Ltd. (HKEx Stock Code: 2099; Toronto Stock Exchange Stock Code: CGG) since 25 June 2019 and an independent non-executive director of Inner Mongolia Xingye Silver & Tin Mining Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen Stock Exchange Stock Code: 426) since March 2026. She was a partner of the PE Investment Department at Harvest Global Capital Investments Limited from April 2024 to April 2026. She was appointed as the executive director and deputy chief executive officer of Mason Group Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 0273) on 16 April 2020, until the privatisation of the said company completed on 13 November 2023. Prior to joining Mason Group Holdings Limited in late 2019, Ms. Han was head of operations and risk of MEC Advisory Limited, which was the sole investment advisor to Can-China Global Resource Fund. Ms. Han’s role in MEC Advisory Limited included investment, accounting, finance treasury and investor relationships related matters. Prior to joining MEC Advisory Limited in early 2014, Ms. Han was an investment manager at The Export-Import Bank of China responsible for sourcing, evaluating and negotiating investment opportunities in the banking and direct investment industry.
Yen Yuen Ho, Tony
Independent non-executive Director
Mr. Yen Yuen Ho, was appointed as an independent non-executive director of the Company since August 2010. He is a solicitor of Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. He is also a barrister and solicitor of Australia, and was a member of The Law Reform Commission of Hong Kong. Mr. Yen has been practicing law in Hong Kong since 1983 and was the Law Draftsman of the Department of Justice in Hong Kong from 1995 to 2007. Currently, Mr. Yen is an Adjunct Professor of the Beijing Normal University and an Honorary Court Member of the court of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He was an Adjunct Professor of the City University of Hong Kong from July 2011 to June 2014. He is a director of the Hong Kong Institute for Public Administration and an Honorary Legal Adviser to the Friends of Scouting, Scout Association of Hong Kong. Additionally, Mr. Yen serves as the director of two secondary schools, the Chairman of the Neighbourhood Advice Action Council and a Member of Heep Hong Society’s Executive Council. He is also an Honorary Adviser to the Pok Oi Hospital, Honorary Adviser to the Hong Kong Academy of Nursing and the Honorary Legal Adviser to the Shanghai Fraternity Association. Mr. Yen was appointed as an Honorary Fellow of the School of Education, University of Hong Kong in 2014. In the past years, he was appointed by the HKSAR Government as a member of the Education Bureau’s Panel of Review Board on School Complaints and as the Vice-Chairman of the Social Welfare Lump Sum Grant Independent Complaints Handling Committee. Mr. Yen also serves as a guest speaker to various universities in Hong Kong. He is an independent non-executive director of Alltronics Holdings Limited and WWPKG Holdings Company Limited (the shares of which are listed on the Stock Exchange). He also served as an independent non-executive director of Beijing Energy International Holding Co., Ltd. (from 6 April 2011 to 18 June 2021). Mr. Yen was in October 2015 appointed by China Minsheng Jiaye Investment Co. Limited as an independent director.
Poon Chiu Kwok
Independent Non-Executive Director
Mr. Poon Chiu Kwok was appointed as an independent non-executive director of the Company since March 2017, holds a master’s degree in international accounting, a post-graduate diploma in laws, a bachelor’s degree in laws and a bachelor’s degree in business studies. He has years of experience in regulatory affairs, corporate finance and governance. He is an executive director, vice president and company secretary of Huabao International Holdings Limited, whose shares are listed on the Stock Exchange. He currently serves as an independent non-executive director of the following companies listed on the Stock Exchange: AUX International Holdings Limited, China Isotope & Radiation Corporation, Greentown Service Group Co. Ltd., Sany Heavy Equipment International Holdings Company Limited and Sunac China Holdings Limited. He is also an independent non-executive director of Konka Group Co., Ltd., a company listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. In the last three years, he also served as an independent non-executive director of Changan Minsheng APLL Logistics Co., Ltd. (from 30 September 2011 to 30 June 2023), Yankuang Energy Group Company Limited (from 29 June 2017 to 30 June 2023) and Yuanda China Holdings Limited (from 12 April 2011 to 9 September 2023). Mr. Poon is a fellow member of CPA Australia Ltd., the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute, The Chartered Governance Institute of UK and The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute.
